I Want To Play Holi With Sanaya & Karan Singh Grover Says Drashti Dhami

First she shot for special ‘Holi’ promo and episode for Colors channel and now she is shooting for Holi in her own show ‘Madhubaala’, Drashti is into colours of Holi for the past seven days and she still has at least two more days to go.
Continous and grueling shoot has left Drashti wondering whether she is going to play real ‘Holi’ or not. Drashti says “OMG it’s endless Holi shoot. I just want to finish the shoot, go home and sleep. But since I enjoy this festival so much I would like to take some time out and play real Holi with my friends. There have not been a single year when I have not played Holi.”
And when asked who are the friends wants to play ‘Holi’ with, pat comes a reply “Of course Sanaya and Karan Singh Grover. They will be my first victims.”
Well we really hope Drashti that you get to enjoy real holi with your supercool friends.

Many actors feel that TV shows do not give them a chance to explore their acting skills, especially with respect to the male actors. But the very good looking Khushwant Walia who is winning hearts as Rubel doesn’t have any such complaints, as he gets a chance to portray an interesting character in Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (Rajshri Productions).

Khushwant bares his heart in a chat with Tellychakkar.com as he avers, “I feel really lucky to have managed to play two extreme kinds of emotions in one character. Versatility is every actor’s quest and getting to play a negative turned positive role is surely a challenging task. I did my proper homework for both and thankfully with such tremendous response, all the hard work is paying off well.”

Wanting to be an actor from childhood, Khushwant has been part of drama clubs in school but it was only in college that he seriously started focusing on his acting career. “I started auditioning and was almost finalised for a show, but things did not work out. Then I was offered this role. Star Plus and Rajshri made for an awesome combination and I couldn’t just say no to it,” says the sexy and handsome guy.

Being a talented actor with the right looks, didn’t he want to start off as a lead and not a parallel one with his first show, we ask him. “Honestly I wanted to do that. But then this is not a sidelined character and has good screen space. Also the role is an exciting one. Repetition scares me and I would now like to do roles that are completely different from Rubel’s role,” he answers with a smile.

Talking about repetition, doesn’t he feel TV shows usually have same kind of scenes every day? “I take each day as a new one and try to do my scenes better every time. I push myself to try new techniques so that I don’t feel stagnant in my character. And the best part is that my creatives are so good that they always get something different from Rubel,” exclaims Khushwant.

And with his character being quite a lover boy, we wondered how romantic is he is real life? “I am a complete romantic. I am pretty confident that I can make someone feel special and I think that comes out on screen.” So is he dating someone? “No, I am single and all that I am saying comes from my past experiences. I think my romantic attributes are getting wasted (laughs out loud),” concludes the actor.

Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms) is focusing on an interesting track wherein Pihu (Akanksha Gilani), the sister of Rachana (Mahima Makwana) has come out of her marital life with Murli (Anshul Singh), just because he has not been able to give her a classy and romantic life.

In the episodes that have gone on air, there has been a new entry in a flamboyant boy Vicky, essayed by Chandan Madan. Vicky who is a colleague at Pihu’s acting class has been showing gestures of being smitten by Pihu’s beauty. He has been sending her roses, sweet messages on her phone etc, which have seemed to awe Pihu. The girl has now gone on to compare Vicky’s larger-than-life persona to the simple Murli, who used to give her no happiness.

Well, looks like the married Pihu is finding her dream man in Vicky!! But will she find true love in Vicky?

Well, there is surely a twist coming…

A source states, “Vicky will turn out to be a guy planted by Shail (Vaishnavi Mc Donald),who is Pihu’s mom. Shail would have seen the mistakes that her daughter has committed by moving away from her husband, just because Murli happens to be a simple guy. Pihu without knowing the values of life, lived in a dream world where all she saw was happiness, enjoyment. But Shail would have decided to teach her the real meaning of life, and that it is to be contented with whatever you have. In her attempt to teach Pihu a lesson, she would have brought in her friend’s son Vicky to help her out.”

In the episodes to come, Vicky will show Pihu a glittering life ahead with all love and happiness. However, the plan will be to eventually show Pihu that all that glitters is not gold.

Chandan Madan who essays the role of Vicky has done shows like Shama, Main Babul Ke Dev, and is presently playing the role of Ram in DD1’s Sankat Mochan Hanuman. He has been seen in episodics of Fear Files, Adaalatand Savdhan India.

We could not get through to Vaishnavi and Chandan though.
